“Peace on Earth. Goodwill toward men.” This one line sums up the entire spirit of Christmas. But these days it seems that message has become lost. In the hectic dashing from here to there; this, that and the other, we often forget this simple message.
To this end, The Graffiti Bridge would like to take this opportunity to take a moment of silence and remember this simple, but powerful message. “Equality” is the message we are sending over the Holidays. Equality, every person is equal, so please try to remember to treat each other as such. It is the ESSENCE of civility and common courtesy. Unfortunately, it seems “common courtesy,” is no longer quite so common.
So, as we enter the 2017 Holiday season, go shopping for those Christmas presents, Christmas trees, and decorations, try to keep the other person in mind. Hold the door, say thank you, help someone out if the opportunity arises.
It doesn’t cost you anything, but the impact of that one tiny act of kindness may literally be the difference between life and death. You never know what is going on in another person’s life, so please, be kind.
