The Graffiti Bridge is honored to have been commissioned to help the Emerald Coast's Refuge For Women raise awareness for their cause.
Refuge for Women is a non-profit, faith based organization that provides long-term care for women who have escaped human trafficking or sexual exploitation.
Refuge for Women offers safe housing with 24-hour-a-day staffing. The program is designed, and staff trained, to help residents recognize their goals in life, and to assist them in reaching those goals, along with facilitating healing.
A resident can complete the program in 9 months and may have the opportunity for an additional 3 months of aftercare. Our hope is for each woman to leave Refuge for Women with self-sustainability and a life marked with dignity and hope.
When asked “What do you like most here?” the women all replied “The safety and peacefulness.”
The Graffiti Bridge family is very proud to share this vision. To promote Emerald Coast Refuge For Women, The Graffiti Bridge put one of our best artist on the task. The result was this monumental, full-span mural in vibrant tri-color craftsmanship.
If you, or anyone you know would like to use this unique medium to promote your own organization, please call us. Our lines are open normal business hours, and we can schedule an appointment to paint the bridge.
