The Graffiti Bridge is proud to honor Pensacola’s fallen war heroes. Today, The Graffiti Bridge painted a mural to raise awareness of the Barrancas National Cemetery, “Wreaths Across America,” Pensacola Chapter.
Every year, Barrancas National Cemetery gathers wreaths from hundreds of volunteers, and places them on the headstones, to recognize the service of fallen Pensacola heroes.
What started nine years ago, as a small group of friends placing nine wreaths at the headstones of their fallen family members, has grown to a County wide effort. Seventeen local organizations and individual volunteers, placing more than 7,000 wreaths at the headstones of Pensacola's fallen service men and women.
The core mission of Wreaths Across America is to remember the fallen, honor those who serve and their families, and teach the future generations about the sacrifices made to preserve our freedoms.
The Graffiti Bridge shares this vision, and to show our appreciation of your service, we would like to dedicate this full panel mural, illustrated with brilliant tri-color design as a token of our appreciation all our Pensacola heroes.
These men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect that most precious American value. Freedom. Because freedom never comes free.
